What is the difference between 11/0, 8/0, 6/0 and 15/0 beads? The number indicates the size: 15/0 are the smallest (1.5mm), 11/0 measure approximately 2mm, 8/0 are 3mm and 6/0 are the largest at 4mm. The higher the number, the smaller the bead. 11/0 are the most versatile for most projects.
What are Tila and Half-Tila beads and what are they used for? Miyuki Tila beads are 5mm flat square beads with two parallel holes, perfect for creating geometric patterns, mosaics, and structured textures. Half-Tila beads are half a Tila bead, ideal for finishes and transitions in your designs.
